Be Brave With Your Life

It's still Friday! Finally a post that is on time! Well I've recently set out to make my dreams a reality.  This (school) year has marked many changes in my life; both good and bad. Either way, be it good or bad, I've learned something about myself and the world. I can't tell you how important it is to appreciate and learn from everything in your life; to take away something positive from everything that life throws at you. Understanding and appreciating what you have is key to improvement, acceptance and strength. To be brave with your life doesn't mean you have to do crazy things that frighten you and hinder you; bravery doesn't have to be in the face of danger. Being brave can mean to take what you want and desire and make it your own. To be brave enough to know what it is you want and to chase after with no excuses to stop you. Know what it is you have to do and hunt it down. Waiting for something to fall into your lap does nothing for you. Working hard, facing your fears because you want and deserve something, that is also true bravery. Be brave enough to know that the things you want come from your ability to work for them, not sitting and waiting. Nothing worth having is easy. I truly believe that. The hard part is doing the things you need to do to get to where you want to be. Finding that inner motivation to fight and work for want you want can be daunting, and understandably so.

I guess my point here is in the face of change and decision making be brave to make a decision and go for it, be strong enough to work for it and be smart enough to know when you need help. You don't have to do it alone. Sometimes just making the decision to go for it is the hardest part; you know, right before everything starts? It's the unknown that is scary, the what ifs. Take a leap of faith in yourself. Trust yourself to make the right decision. If it isn't the right decision, make a new one and try again. The past can't be written but you can alter the course that you are on. Say how you feel, even when it's hard or terrifying, stand up for what you believe in and work so very hard for what you want and deserve. Sometimes they aren't the same thing. Be brave enough to know the difference.
